The Calvert Romanza Violin is modeled after a 1744 Guarneri del Gesu. The Romanza features Parisian eye ebony fitting a a hand-applied spirit and oil mixed varnish. Light antiquing with defined edge shading enhances the fully hand-carved, highly figured seasoned spruce top and flamed curly maple back.
